September offers busy slate of children's activities

Norman Public Library Central and its Children’s Services staff are bringing a variety of programs and activities to the community with regular weekly offerings during September.

The schedule of regular weekly events includes:

Story Time, for children ages 2-5 10 a.m. Mondays and 11 a.m. Saturdays beginning Sept. 5.

Creative Space, books and crafts, for grades 3-5 – 4:30 p.m. Mondays beginning Sept. 14.

Baby Story Time, for newborns to 24 months10 a.m. Wednesdays beginning Sept. 2.

After School Special, which will have books, a film and a craft, for kindergarten-2nd grade3:30 p.m. Wednesdays beginning Sept. 16.

Library Music Connection, for ages 3 to 7 6 p.m. Thursdays beginning Sept. 3. 

Rhythm Babies, for children age 3 and under10 a.m. Fridays beginning Sept. 4.

Sensory Sensitive Story Time, for ages 4-103:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11. Registration is required for this program.
