The library isn't only just good for books, we also have many different programs and activities that you and your children may participate in! This February, Norman Public Library Central and its Children’s Services Department invites you and your family to come join the fun with our series of programs and activities for all ages of children. Most programs take place either in the children’s area or in the Story Time Room of the library.
The schedule of regular weekly activities in February features:
Story Time, best for children ages 2-5 – 10 a.m. each Monday and 11 a.m. Saturdays Feb. 6, 13 and 27
Creative Space, for children in grades 3rd-6th – 4:30 p.m. Mondays Feb. 1, 8, 22 and 29
Baby Story Time, for children up to age 2 – 10 a.m. Wednesdays
After School Special, for children in kindergarten-2nd grade – 3:30 p.m. Wednesdays
Toddler Explorers, for ages 1 to 3 – 10 a.m. first Thursday of each month (Feb. 4)
Music Connection, for ages 3 to 7 – 6 p.m. Thursdays
Rhythm Babies, for children up to age 2 – 10 a.m. Fridays
Sit, Stay, Read! -- 6:30 p.m. Feb. 9 and 23. Register by calling the Children's Desk at 701-2630.
Sensory Story Time, for ages 4 to 10 – 3:30 p.m. second Friday of each month (Feb. 12). Registration is required.
Family Circle Dance -- 2 p.m. Feb. 21
Unless otherwise noted, registration is not required for any program.
