Turn back the clock with an evening of 'groovy jewelry'

Hands byNicolePinaTurn back the clock with Norman Public Library Central and its Throwback Seventies Craft Night, from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 30, in the Lowry Room of the library. Participants will be making some "groovy jewelry."

Ages 12 and up are invited, and will create jewelry pieces out of recycled jeans and also learn to macramé hand-dyed jewelry.

We'll have all the supplies, you just bring the creativity. We ask that you please register in advance so we know how many people are coming.

It figures to be a creative evening for those who lived through the 70s or those younger crafters wanting a taste of what the decade was like.
