Seniors can improve their lives with Tai Chi

"To keep the body in good health is a duty... otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear." - Buddha

Come learn about the art of Tai Chi often used to manage stress and a variety of other health conditions on Monday and Wednesday afternoons. The classes occur from 1:45 pm to 2:45 pm from July 6th to August 12th.

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese tradition that, today, is practiced as a graceful form of exercise. It involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing. Tai Chi is low impact and puts minimal stress on muscles and joints, making it generally safe for all ages and fitness levels.

Classes taught by staff of the Oklahoma Initiative for Healthy Aging.
