Take a seat and talk about genealogy

genealogyDo you aspire to become a genealogist or are you intersted in the study of genealogy itself? Norman Public Library West takes a deeper look inside family history with its discussion, Genealogy Around the Table, from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Feb. 10.

It’s an opportunity for genealogy researchers to get together to discuss their work, share problems and offer solutions to road blocks they may have encountered. Kathryn Ramsay, Local History and Genealogy Librarian for the Pioneer Library System, will lead a discussion of obstacles faced in research and techniques that can help researchers make progress.
