Free concerts fill the library during December

Snowflake byjill111The holiday season is just the right time for music, and Norman Public Library West delivers with several free concerts during December.

The local group SquishBAND presents a Holiday Celebration at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9. The family band will present a set of holiday favorites to help get the season kicked off.

St. Stephen's United Methodist Church will brings its Children's and Adult Handbell Choirs to the library for performances beginning at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10. Music director Venita MacGorman will lead the groups as they perform holiday favorites.

And capping the holiday festivities, the Temple B'nai Youth Choir makes a visit to the library at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18 for an afternoon of Hanukkah Tunes.

All ages are invited, and registration is not required to attend any of the events.
