OKC Zoo talking flowers in library visit

RosesNorman Public Library West welcomes the Oklahoma City Zoo for a visit to its Preschool Story Time at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 4.

The Zoo's program Flowers Are Calling will be based on the Rita Gray book of the same name, and looks at the many ways flowers play an important role in the everyday lives of animals.

And the final three Tuesdays in April bring the library's Preschool Story Time, each also hosted at 10 a.m. The programs are geared to children in pre-Kindergarten and younger and their caregivers and include books, music, stories, games and more.

The zoo's visit is made possible by a grant from the Oklahoma City Zoological Society, the Oklahoma City Zoo's non-profit support group.

Registration is not required in advance to attend any of the events.
