Do It Yourself with our Saturday series

PumpkinsNorman Public Library West will be a haven for creativity in its Do It Yourself series, scheduled on Saturday afternoons this fall.

The series brings a variety of programs for different age groups and includes events at the following dates and times:

2 p.m. Sept. 30, DIY Felt Succulents – Plant a garden of felt plants that make a colorful arrangement but will never die because, well, they’re made of felt. For teens ages 12 to 17.

2 p.m. Oct. 7, Tween Fall Trick or Treat Bags – Make a unique bag for this year’s trick-or-treating using duct tape. For ages 8 to 14.

2 p.m. Oct. 21, Day of the Dead Ceramic Skills – Commemorate the Day of the Dead by creating a ceramic skull by hand. For ages 12 and up.

All supplies will be provided by library staff. So enough materials are available, registration is required separately for each of the programs.
