Saturday series seeks DIY, gaming enthusiasts

HandsNorman Public Library West is spreading creativity with its upcoming series of Do It Yourself projects and other activities offered on Saturdays during January.

The programs are offered for a variety of age groups and include:

DIY Bullet Journal, 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 6 – Get organized with a personalized bullet journal. Anyone wanting to bring specific supplies they’d like to add to the journal is encouraged to bring them. Either teens or adults may participate.

Second Saturday STEAM, 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13 – For tweens ages 9 to 12, it’s a sewing project with participants making either a pillow for their phone or tablet. Basic sewing machine skills will be required.

Attack on Boardom, 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20 – It’s an afternoon of board games at the library, with all ages invited to bring a game or play one provided by the library.

DIY Personalized Mugs, 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27 – Use craft stickers and markers to decorate a mug to take home or give as a gift. Teens or adults may participate.

All supplies for craft events will be provided by the library but are limited in amount, so registration is required in advance separately for each of the programs.
