Make your kitchen healthier with help from class

VeggiesNorman Public Library West continues its “Eat Smart” series with the upcoming program Eat Smart and Better Navigate the Grocery Aisles, at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 19, at the library.

Tara Douglas of the Cleveland County Health Department will give tips and ideas for making good choices at the grocery store, from reading food labels to planning healthy meals, all while sticking to a budget.

The Eat Smart series is made possible thanks to funds from the Oklahoma Department of Libraries, Oklahoma Literacy Resource Office and the Institute of Museum and Library Services and is a partnership with the Cleveland County Health Department.

Ages 18 and up may attend. Space is limited, so registration is required in advance.
