Take a musical break with piano performances

“I’m an interpreter of stories. When I perform it’s like sitting down at my piano and telling fairy stories.” – Nat King Cole

Norman Public Library West invites music lovers of all ages for a pair of opportunities to relax with a good book and some piano music.

The library hosts a concert from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, featuring students from the University of Oklahoma music program. Then a second lunchtime session is planned from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 22. Guests can bring their own lunch or pick up something from Michelangelo’s Café inside the library.

The library has use of a Yamaha baby grand piano thanks to a member of the community, and it will be used periodically for events like these.
