The Purcell Public Library is a deep community resource for those researching their family history.
Several times during August, Library Assistant Gary Rice will be available to share his knowledge of research, as well as tips on the many resources available through the library.
Rice sets aside time from 1 to 3 p.m. on Mondays, August 3, 10 and 24, in the Meeting Room of the library, to provide individual genealogy help. Registration is required in advance to have a time slot to meet.
A come-and-go session of genealogy help will be held at the McClain County Historical Museum (203 W. Washington St.) from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, August 20.
