The Purcell Public Library invites you to make and create with its new program series, Makers' Space. The library welcomes children 11 and below for the afterschool events at 3 p.m. each Thursday in September, on Sept. 3, 10, 17 and 24, in the Meeting Room of the library.
The first activity on September 3rd will be exploring MaKey MaKeys. We will create a piano from vegetables and may play Pac Man using controllers we make from Play Doh! Other activities will include topics like art, crafts and technology, and all supplies, as well as an afterschool snack, will be provided by the library.
Programs are made possible through the support of a grant from the Oklahoma Department of Libraries and the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
Registration is not required in advance to attend.
