Pumpkins, Legos and more coming to the library for Fall Break

pumpkinThe Purcell Public Library invites local students to spend part of their Fall Break at the library with two afternoon activities during the break from school!

At 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, the library hosts a Pumpkin Decorating event that’s just like it sounds. The library will provide the pumpkins and art supplies and children up to age 11 will supply the creativity to decorate them! This is a come-and-go event running until 4 p.m.

At 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, it’s a different sort of creativity with the WeDO Legos program. Children up to age 11 will use a variety of Lego sets provided by the library to build and create masterpieces!

The Lego kits have been provided to the library thanks to funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services through the Oklahoma Department of Libraries.

Registration is not required in advance to attend either of the programs.
