Purcell Public Library

The Purcell Public Library will partner with the Oklahoma Healthy Aging Initiative for a six-week series of Diabetes Empowerment Education Programs (DEEP), at 10 a.m. for six consecutive Wednesdays at the library, beginning February 3.
The free 90 minute interactive classes are perfect for people who need help understanding diabetes! They will teach attendees specific things they can do to manage the disease, prevent or delay complications, and improve their well being.
The classes are led by instructors from the Oklahoma Healthy Aging Intiative, which is a program of the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center, Donald W Reynolds Department of Geriatric Medicine.
Classes are for ages 18 and up, and registration is required to attend.
