Maker Faire features tai chi lesson, terrarium project

tai chiHave you taken part in the PLS Winter Read programs? Well there's one coming right around the corner! The Purcell Public Library’s monthly Maker Faire brings a double-feature of activities in its next event, at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 13.

The program is for teens, ages 12 and up, and adults. In the morning, from 10 a.m. to noon, participants will get a lesson in 8 basic tai chi movements.

After a break for lunch from noon to 1, the group will work on a terrarium project in the afternoon, with cleanup time at 3 p.m.

Registration is required to participate, and the program is limited to 12 people. Learning tai chi and making a terrarium project? What can beat that? Don't miss out!
