AdultDiscussionThe Purcell Public Library invites local genealogy researchers to find help in providing information for members of the community tracking down their family history.

Staff will be share research knowledge, as well as tips on the many genealogy resources available through the library from 1 to 3 p.m. on Mondays, Aug. 8 and 22, in the Meeting Room of the library, to provide individual genealogy help. Registration is required in advance to have a time slot to meet.

And a session of genealogy help will go outside the doors of the library from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, to the McClain County Historical Museum. The museum is at 203 W. Washington St. in downtown Purcell.
