Learn through play at "Friday Play Date"

Child byskeezeMake a "Friday Play Date" with the Purcell Public Library and its newest activity for families with young children, hosted twice in October from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 14 and 28, in the Meeting Room.

The Oct. 14 event theme is "123 Play with Me!" and includes toys and games for children to explore as a group.

On Oct. 28, it will be a Paint Party, with puffy paint, smelly paint and even a mess-free paint options

The play dates are designed to encourage toddlers and preschool children ages 2 to 4 to learn through play and will feature several centers, as well as a story and music. They'll be scheduled periodically throughout the fall.

Registration is not required in advance to attend.
