The Purcell Public Library invites local genealogy researchers to find help in providing information for members of the community tracking down their family history.
Staff will share research knowledge, as well as ideas and how-tos on the many resources available through the library at Individual Genealogy Help sessions, from 1 to 3 p.m. on Mondays, Feb. 13 and 27, in the Meeting Room of the library, to provide individual genealogy help. Registration is required in advance to have a time slot to meet.
And a session of genealogy help will go outside the doors of the library to the McClain County Historical Museum from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16. The museum is at 203 W. Washington St. in downtown Purcell.
