Exciting news!
Over the next couple of weeks we are making a switch to a new calendar & room booking system.

We greatly appreciate your patience as we make this transition. If you experience difficulties accessing our calendar or requesting a meeting room please contact your local library for assistance.

Use our resources to help with family research

Genealogy TreeThe Purcell Public Library invites local genealogy researchers to find help in providing information for members of the community tracking down their family history.

Staff will share research knowledge, as well as ideas and how-tos on the many resources available through the library in Individual Genealogy Help Sessions, from 1 to 3 p.m. on Mondays, March 13 and 27, in the Meeting Room of the library. Registration is required in advance to have a time slot to meet.

And a session of genealogy help will go outside the doors of the library to the McClain County Historical Museum from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, March 16. The museum is at 203 W. Washington St. in downtown Purcell.
