Use Resistance Bands to increase strength and flexibility

Man working outThe Purcell Public Library shows a new idea in low-stress physical fitness its upcoming series Build Strength with Resistance Bands. The series takes place at 11 a.m. on Fridays, beginning June 2 and running for six weeks through July 14.

Participants will learn how to use resistance bands in multiple exercises that aim to increase their flexibility and strength. Bands will be provided.

The program is provided through the Oklahoma Healthy Aging Initiative.

Ages 18 and up may attend, and registration is required in advance.
