Summer Tai Chi series to begin June 5

Tai ChiThe Purcell Public Library invites the community to its summer series “Build a Better Balance with Tai Chi.” The free classes are scheduled for six weeks beginning at 10 a.m. Monday, June 5, and running each Monday and Friday through Friday, July 21, for a total of 12 sessions.

Classes are for ages 18 and up and participants will be taught eight different Tai Chi forms and positions to help achieve better balance.

Space is limited so registration is required in advance to participate.

The class is presented in a partnership with the Oklahoma Healthy Aging Initiative.
