Summer tween series continues on Thursday afternoons

KidsThe Purcell Public Library welcomes tweens for activities at 2 p.m. on the first three Thursdays of July in the Meeting Room.

The programs are for ages 8 to 12. Themes for each week’s event are:

July 6Going to the Dogs – Participants will make treats and toys for their pets, and for those without a pet, their creations will be donated to a local animal shelter.

July 13Tweens Love Water – Rob Barossi, a Blue Thumb Educator from the Oklahoma Conservation Commission, will bring a variety of water activities.

July 20Tweens Recycle – Turn trash into treasure in an event that teaches tweens about repurposing in a creative way.

Registration is not required to attend any of the programs.
