Tai Chi series offers methods for better balance

Tai ChiThe Purcell Public Library will host another installation of its series Tai Chi for Better Balance this fall. The series is beginning at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 16, and running on Mondays and Wednesdays for 12 sessions through Wednesday, Nov. 22.

The classes are for ages 18 and up and will focus on eight different low-impact Tai Chi positions that can help attendees improve their balance.

The program is offered in a partnership with the Oklahoma Healthy Aging Initiative.

Space is limited, so registration is required in advance to participate.
