The Shawnee Public Library invites new computer users to build their skills at a series of beginning computer classes. Afternoon classes will take place Sept. 15-17 in the Computer Training Center of the library.
The schedule includes:
Introduction to Computers, 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15 – For new computer users, a look at basic terms and functions, including a lesson using a mouse.
Introduction to the Internet, 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16 – Basic tips on searching the World Wide Web. For new computer users.
Introduction to Email, 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17 – Create a free email account using one of several free services available online.
Classes are designed for adults ages 18 and up. Registration is required separately for each class.
