If you are interested into learning the basic functions for using a computer, then you won't want to miss out on these classes happening right in the library! The Shawnee Public Library invites new computer users to build their skills at a series of free beginning computer classes, which will take place Feb. 9-11 in the Computer Training Center.
The schedule includes:
Feb. 9 Tuesday 10 a.m. - Introduction to Computers: will look at basic terms and functions, including a lesson using a mouse. For new computer users.
Feb. 10 Wednesday 10 a.m. - Introduction to the Internet: will have basic tips on searching the World Wide Web, security concerns, and more! For new computer users.
Feb. 11 Thursday 10 a.m. - Introduction to Email: will show you how to create a free email account using one of several free services available online. Basic computer skills are required.
Registration is required separately for each class. Register as soon as you can so you don't miss out on these series of classes!
