Engage with cooking demonstration during Red Bud City Festival

The Shawnee Public Library joins in the City of Shawnee’s Red Bud City Festival with a special cooking program from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 21, in Community Rooms A and B.

The event will be a demonstration of the Blue Zones guidelines for cooking and include several recipes in the presentation. It’s part of a continuing Blue Zones series being offered by the library.

Financial assistance for the series was made possible through federal funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services and administered through the Health Literacy Grant by the Oklahoma Department of Libraries.
