Solve a crime at the program “Superhero Science: Forensics 101,” at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 3 with the Museum of Osteology. No registration required.
The Community Room will be turned into a crime lab for teens in 6th - 12th grade to perform a forensic investigation of various skull traumas.
After a basic introduction to skull osteology and lab procedures, you will use a variety of tools from your forensic science kit to evaluate and document key evidence to support your results. Museum quality replicas of human skulls from actual crime scenes will be used in the program.
Go deeper into forensic investigation by taking home some fiction and non-fiction titles available at the library.
