The Southwest Oklahoma City Public Library is there for children and families with a variety of age-appropriate activities offered throughout every week at the library.
The schedule for children’s activities for September features:
Children’s Story Time and Craft, for ages 2 to 5, Mondays at 10 and 11 a.m.
Baby Story Time and Play, for ages 0 to 2, Thursdays at 10 and 11 a.m.
Sensory Story Time, for ages 2 to 6 that are sensitive to sensory overload, Friday, Sept. 4 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Registration is required for these events.
TLC (Touch, Learn and Create), a sensory event for children ages 2 to 6, Wednesday, Sept. 16, 10 a.m. The theme will be Apples!
And before and after any of the programs, families can enjoy the children’s department of the library and find a book from the Pioneer Library System’s extensive collection of materials for all ages.
