Calling all aspiring writers to three-part writing series

notesIf you are an author or just someone who aspires to learn more about writing, come on over to the Southwest Oklahoma City Public Library for an upcoming three-part series for writers.

The first class will explore ways to strengthen your Writing Voice and will be led by author Kim Ventrella. The class will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9.

For the second class of the series, you will be able to join a panel of published authors for a discussion over Writing Children's Non-Fiction. The panel members include Gwen Hooks (author of over 20 published books), Jane McKellips, Pati Hailey, Amy Stephens and Jill Donaldson. The class will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 8.

The final class in the series will be led by author Ashley Nixon as she discusses tips for Writing Better Dialouge. This class will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 12,

The classes are offered free of charge, but registration is required separately for each edition. Teens ages 12 and up and adults are welcome!
