Finish up 2016 with a visit to the library!

BoyReading2The Southwest Oklahoma City Public Library has families with children in mind as it presents a variety of programs for all ages of children, many repeated multiple times during the month.

Programs scheduled during December for children and their caregivers, with suggested age range for participation, include:

Toddler Story Time and Play (ages 1-3) – 10 and 11 a.m. Thursdays, Dec. 1, 8, 15

After School Kids (Pre-K through 3rd grade) – 4:30 p.m. Thursdays, Dec. 1 and 15 (Registration required in advance)

Baby Lapsit (ages 15 month and under) – 10 a.m. Fridays, Dec. 2, 9, 16

Family Story Time and Craft (all ages) – 10 and 11 a.m. Mondays, Dec. 5 and 12

Lego Quest (ages 5-12) – 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6

Family Music Time (for younger children) – 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7

Holiday Party (all ages) – 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10

TweenScene (ages 7 to 12) – 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13

TLC (Touch, Learn and Create) (ages 2 to 6) – 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21
