The first two programs are “Traditional Birth Options,” at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, and “Midwives, Doulas, and You,” at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, each in Rooms A and B of the library. Space is limited so register online, at the library, or by calling  979-2200 in advance for each program.

During these programs and each of the events in the series, there will be librarian-led activities for children of attendees taking place across the room, so parents will not have to worry about getting child care to attend.

The Feb. 10 program will feature obstetricians and nurses discussing birth options, while the second program is a chance to learn about the roles of midwives and doulas from conception through birth.

For more information on this parenting series, or any of the programs and services offered at the library, visit the library or call 979-2200.
