The Southwest Oklahoma City Public Library is exercising mind and body through multiple workout classes offered weekly.
These classes are for all ages but are best suited to ages 7 and up. They will teach basics of Tai Chi as a way to improve health and wellness through low-impact workouts. Chock Petchprom, a certified Tai Chi instructor, will lead the classes.
On Tuesdays at 6 p.m., the library presents Pilates classes for ages 12 and up. Pilates is a body conditioning routine that aims to help build flexibility, muscle strength and endurance.
Registration is required separately for each of the classes.
