Discussion goes inside the origins of “Downton Abbey”

The Southwest Oklahoma City Public Library’s Penn Ave. Literary Society takes a look at the novel that inspired the series “Downton Abbey” in its next discussion, at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12.

This month’s novel is “Below Stairs” by Margaret Powell, which also was inspiration for the series “Upstairs Downstairs.”

Copies of each month's book are available at the library’s Information Desk, and registration is not required to attend any of the talks, which generally take place on the second Thursday of the month.

For more information, visit the library or call 979-2200.
