Exercise mind and body with the Southwest Oklahoma City Public Library and its recurring exercise classes offered during January.
Classes, times and dates for the month include:
Tai Chi for Health, 6 p.m. Mondays, Jan. 8 and Jan. 22 – Certified instructor Chock Petchprom will teach basic forms of Tai Chi to boost health and wellness. The classes are best for ages 7 and up.
Pilates, 6 p.m. Tuesdays, Jan. 9 and Jan. 23 – Classes will seek to build flexibility, muscle strength and endurance. Ages 12 and up may attend.
Registration, as well as a signed waiver, are required in advance.
The series is made possible through the Health Literacy Grant by the Oklahoma Department of Libraries, Oklahoma Literacy Resource Office and the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
