It's a celebration of all things Seuss

Cat in the Hat coverThe Southwest Oklahoma City Public Library hosts a celebration of one of the stars of children’s literature in its Dr. Seuss Day, at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, March 1, in Rooms A and B.

The event is in honor of the birthday of author Theodor “Seuss” Geisel, better known as Dr. Seuss, who was born March 2, 1904. The day features a variety of themed activities celebrating many of the author’s most popular storybook characters.

All ages of children may attend and registration is not required in advance.
