The Southwest Oklahoma City Public Library invites members of the community to gather unwanted documents or medications to its free Shred Day and Medication Drop-Off, being hosted from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, June 22, in the parking lot of the Moore-Norman Technology Center’s South Campus, next door to the library at 13301 S. Pennsylvania Ave.
The drive-through event gives residents a chance to safely dispose of sensitive documents or outdated medications. The shredding service will be provided by Riteway Shredding.
Items that can be considered include:
Outdated tax documents, contracts, agreements or legal paperwork;
Any document containing personal information;
Bank statements, credit card bills, receipts and other old bills;
