Tuesdays are time for creativity at the library

SRP logoThe Southwest Oklahoma City Public Library continues its series of Tuesday afternoon activities geared to children up to ages 11 and their families during July with events scheduled each of the month’s five Tuesdays starting at 3 p.m.

Programs featured during the series will be:

July 3 Libraries Rock with KEVA Planks: Build some basic engineering skills with an introduction to KEVA planks.

July 10Libraries Rock with Wind Chimes: Make a set of wind chimes while getting a lesson in how music is all around us.

July 17Libraries Rock with Music Around the World: Learn about and create unique musical instruments from all over the world.

July 24Libraries Rock … Awesome Books: Explore books that have won special awards, listen to an award-winning book and create bookmarks.

July 31Libraries Rock Dance Party: It’s time to wrap up summer with a dance party complete with glow bracelets, balloons and snacks.

Registration is not required to attend any of these activities.
