Teens get a lesson in sewing

teal sewing machineThe OSU Extension Service is bringing the art of sewing to the Southwest Oklahoma City Public Library for a two-day workshop for teens, “Sewing 101 for Heroes”, at 2 p.m. Monday, June 1, and Wednesday, June 3 (registration is for both days).

No previous sewing experience is required, and instruction will be almost 1-to-1 with the help of home community education volunteers.

After the workshop, get more inspiration for projects with one of the sewing books or DVDs available at the library or sewing books downloadable from home.
