Homeschool kids learn about sewing and rocket science at the library

sewThe Tecumseh Public Library, along with the Pottawatomie County OSU Extension Service, will offer a pair of creative programs targeted to homeschool children in October!

At 1:30 p.m. both Oct. 8 and 9, participants will work with Cathleen Taylor of the Extension office to create a book bag using sewing machines from one of the Pioneer Library System’s STEAM Power Maker kits. All supplies will be provided so do not miss out!

At 1:30 p.m. Oct. 22, the Extension office’s George Driever will teach children how to make and launch their own paper rockets into the air!

Each program is for ages 6 to 11, and registration is required in advance
