Take time for stories at the library

toddlerThe Tecumseh Public Library has a few more chances before the end of 2015 for story time for children at its Toddler Story Time for young children at 11 a.m. Thursdays, Dec. 3 and 10

Each program is geared to toddlers up to age 3 and their caregivers and includes an hour of stories, fingerplays, songs, playtime and more. Caregivers also will learn literacy tips they can take home to help their youngster get ready to read!

For children slightly older, the library’s Homeschool Elementary Story Time: Soil Painting is for ages 6 to 11 and will meet at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10. Learn soil painting with Karla Beatty from the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture

Registration is not required to attend any of the programs.
