Produce a unique heart quilt at two-night workshop

quiltDo you think that quilts are beautiful and want to make one yourself? The Tecumseh Public Library welcomes quilt enthusiasts, or those without much sewing experience at all to its Heart Quilt workshop, a two-night event at 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 15, and 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 16.

Participants will be making a small heart-shaped quilt suitable for hanging on a wall. How awesome does that sound? All supplies will be provided for the program, which will take two nights to complete.

The activity will utilize the sewing machine set that makes up one of the library’s new STEAM Power Maker Kits, available for library programs that center on science, technology, crafting and more.

The workshop is for ages 18 and up, and registration is required. Register soon because you do not want to miss out on making a quilt!
