“Let’s Talk About it Oklahoma” series continues

BarnDid you enjoy the Let’s Talk About It Oklahoma book discussion or do you want to join? Come on over to the Tecumseh Public Library as it continues its series of book discussions throughout February and March with four more scholar and author-led discussions of novels!

The series is an annual presentation of the Oklahoma Humanities Council, with discussions taking place at libraries throughout the state.

Upcoming events, dates and titles are:

Feb. 18, 6:30 p.m.Fire in Beulah, with author Rilla Askew leading the discussion of her novel;

March 3, 6:30 p.m.Red Dirt: Growing Up Okie, with scholar Carol Humphrey leading the discussion of the novel by Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz;

March 17, 6:30 p.m.Shell Shaker by LeAnne Howe, with discussion led by scholar Ken Hada;

March 31, 6:30 p.m.The Honk and Holler Opening Soon by Billie Letts, with scholar Bill Hagen coordinating the discussion.

The programs are for ages 18 and up and is part of the OHC’s continuing series of book discussions in communities throughout Oklahoma. Registration is not required for any of the programs.
