Teens taking over Wednesday afternoons with program series

teenThe Tecumseh Public Library continues its series of teen programs during July, with events scheduled for July 6, 13, 20 and 27. Ages 12 to 17 are invited to participate.

The schedule features the following events:

July 6, 11 a.m.Teens Cook Lunch, with representatives of the Pottawatomie County OSU Extension Service demonstrating easy recipe ideas.

July 13, 2 p.m.Life-Sized Pac-Man, a re-enactment of the popular 1980s video game with a twist, as participants act out the game themselves.

July 20, 2 p.m.Rack Your Brain, an Oklahoma Museum Network creation featuring engaging puzzles and games to make up a series of competitions.

July 27, 2 p.m. – Take a trip to Firelake Bowling Center, 40945 Hardesty Road in Shawnee, for an afternoon Bowling Bonanza event, that is followed by the library’s annual Summer Reading Program Finale event.

Registration is required separately for each program.
