Wednesday is teen time

TeensFunAs a new school year approaches, the Tecumseh Public Library has options for local students on Wednesday afternoons. Ages 12 to 17 are invited to participate in the events, which each begin at 4 p.m.

The schedule for August teen events includes:

Aug. 10 – Minecraft, an afternoon of challenges, books and a craft based on the popular game;

Aug. 17 – Book Bags, a craft program to make a book bag just in time for the start of school;

Aug. 24 – Gaming, for ages 10 and up to relax after an afternoon of school;

Aug. 31 – MaKey MaKeys, a unique way to turn ordinary objects into music makers.

Registration is required in advance separately for each program, except for the Aug. 24 Gaming event.
