The Tecumseh Public Library welcomes families with young children for its Thursday morning story time events, at 11 a.m. on Thursdays during March.
On March 2, the library presents its Family Play Time/La hora de jugar en familia for ages 5 and under and their caregivers. The activity includes family play time in a bilingual setting as a way for youngsters to develop brains through simple play.
The March 16 Toddler Story Time will be a visit from the Oklahoma City Zoo for the presentation "Bear Wants More!" The program is based on Karma Wilson's award-winning book of the same name and will be presented by OKC Zoo staff.
Toddler Story Times on March 23 and 30 will feature an hour of stories, songs, fingerplays and crafts, with early literacy tips to help children in their pre-reading skills.
Registration is not required in advance to attend any of the programs.
