The Tecumseh Public Library will host a series of exercise classes, “Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance,” with the first program set for 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 18. After a week off, future programs will run at 6 p.m. Mondays from Oct. 2 through Dec. 11.
Participants will learn some of the basic movements of Tai Chi as a way to reduce stress while increasing balance and flexibility. The program is for people of all levels of mobility and can be performed either standing or sitting.
The classes are for ages 18 and up, and registration is required in advance. Participants are asked to wear comfortable clothing for the workouts.
