The Tecumseh Public Library invites local teens to spend their Wednesday afternoons at the library for weekly afterschool events beginning at 4 p.m. each week.
This month’s programs are:
Oct. 4 - Minecraft, an afternoon of challenges, books and a craft based on the popular game;
Oct. 11 – Teens Cook Dessert, with participants making pumpkin spice cream horns;
Oct. 18 – Pillowcases, with the library’s STEAM Power Maker Kit of sewing machines in use to make unique pillowcases;
Oct. 25 – Gaming, an afternoon of both electronic and board games.
Registration is required in advance for the programs, which are for ages 12 to 17.
