Join us for story times on Tuesdays, Thursdays

KidsThe Tecumseh Public Library has expanded its Stress Relief Story Time to a five-week series beginning Tuesday, March 27 and running through April 24.

Each event begins at 10:30 a.m. and will be led by Child Development Specialist Angie Porter, MS, CCPS, of the Pottawatomie County Health Department. The class seeks to promote bonding, verbal and non-verbal communication skills, use of the senses, imitation, interaction, stimulation, relief and relaxation.

It’s geared to preschool-age children and their caregivers.

Also, the library continues its weekly series of Toddler Story Times at 11 a.m. on each Thursday of the month. Activities include songs, finger plays, rhymes and stories along with early literacy tips to get children ready to read.

Registration is not required to attend any of the activities.
