September 2011

September is moving right along. We all get to start off with a long weekend & then move right in to a busy, early Fall season. We are working on communication and are announcing a change in WORD publication schedule. Noble is hosting a series on author Louisa May Alcott while our other hometown libraries are busy with a lot of events. Learn about library materials to help your job search & watch a few tutorials on our catalog.

WORD CoverWe heard your words on WORD, our quarterly PLS Magazine of events! Starting this month WORD magazine is moving to a monthly publication schedule.

Each month, in print or online, be sure to read about all the great events going on in our hometown libraries. September's focus is on the Noble Public Library & our Louisa May Alcott: The Woman Behind Little Women series. October will feature our study aids & November will be our Annual Report.

So watch online & the front lobby of your hometown library for the most recent WORD!

The Noble Public Library is one of 30 libraries in the country, & the only one in Oklahoma, to receive grant funding from the American Library Association & National Endowment for the Humanities to present Louisa May Alcott: The Woman Behind Little Women.

Programs on Louisa May Alcott will be presented at the Noble Public Library during the months of September & October.

Besides Louisa May Alcott inspired events, your hometown libraries have a lot in store for you this September.
